On June 5, 2008 I visited Miriam Epstein at her home in Montreal West. I heard that she had a Papineau
connection from my daughter-in-law Tamar, who heard it from her grandmother, Dorothy Goldwater.

She discusses the White Shul, her grandparents Shaya and Mizza Rimer who lived there for many years, 
Papineau people, and life in those years. Miriam lived close to Papineau, and visited her grandparents every
weekend as a child.
